The Transition Team
Finding the Right Attorney, Consultant and Auditor
It is the role of the Association’s Attorney and Managing Agent to not only allay the concerns of the newly elected Trustees but to provide Counsel and guidance as to how the Community and its Board can pursue a smooth, amiable and expedient Transition. The newly elected Board should at this time put together the Community’s “Transition Team.” That team of necessity should include an Association Attorney, an Engineering Consultant as well as an Association Auditor. Collectively this team of professionals along with the Association’s Managing Agent should be able to provide the Board and in turn the Community with the requisite experience to take the Community through Transition and onto its next phase of evolution.
